July 20, 2010 Board Meeting Agenda Item #49 Title RENEWAL OF GROUP VISION CARE INSURANCE FOR CALENDAR YEARS 2011 AND 2012 Description Vision Care Plan (a division of Humana/CompBenefits, Inc.) has agreed to renew the district collectively bargained group vision program and guarantee the expiring rate of $4.19 per employee per month for an additional two years.  The dependent cost paid by employees will be unchanged and guaranteed for the same two-year period.  The existing rate structure has been unchanged since 1998.  There will be no change in benefits or coverage. Recommendation That the group Vision Care Plan renewal, effective January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2012, be approved as presented.
